QMI is overseen and led by a 2-member Executive Team who work alongside a team of Directors to create QMI curriculum, oversee project development, and run the organization. Each member brings to the organization a unique perspective that we believe creates a collaborative and integrative environment key to QMI’s success.

Wesley Klock

Electrical and Computer Engineering

Wesley loves to spend his free time hitting a volleyball, playing board games, or eating delicious desserts. He is a Senior majoring in Computer Engineering with experience in natural language processing, web development, and venture capital. Most recently, Wesley interned in high frequency trading with Schonfeld Securities in New York.

Jessica spends her free time curating indie rock playlists, munching on Funyuns, and falling off her skateboard. She is a Junior majoring in Business Honors, Computer Science, and Mathematics. Jessica just finished an internship in software engineering with JPMorgan Chase in Chicago.

When Zander isn’t playing pick-up soccer at Clark Field, you can catch him jamming out to music or tinkering with his 3D printer. He is a Junior majoring in Business Honors and Finance with the Elements of Computing Certificate. He spent this past summer analyzing equities at CPMG, a $1.5B hedge fund. Zander is excited to be joining Evercore’s New York M&A group this coming summer.

Catherine enjoys contemporary poetry, medical mysteries, and Insider Food videos. She is a Business Honors and Finance Senior and has experience in venture capital, investment banking, and equity research. After analyzing cryptocurrencies at Susquehanna International Group, she returned to New York and joined Evercore’s M&A Group her Junior summer. Upon graduating, she will be joining Apax Partners in their New York office.

Eric is a huge fan of diet soda, trying vegan food, and frozen yogurt (RIP Red Mango on Rio Grande). He is a Senior majoring in Business Honors, Finance, and Mathematics with experience in corporate finance, investment banking, and consulting. This past summer, Eric interned in management consulting with McKinsey & Company in Dallas and will be returning there next fall.

how to join

QMI Analysts are selected through a competitive application and interview process at the beginning of each academic year. Those interested in applying for the program should first become official members of the USIT Foundation and then refer to the QMI About Page for more details.

Leadership positions for the organization are determined during the spring semester. Executive Directors, Directors of Technology, and Directors of Finance are elected through a voting process. After elections, Directors will then lead a rigorous application and interview process to choose Intelligence Leads for the following year.
